[EAGLE WATCH] Headline of the Week

4.30.09
Today's Berkshire Eagle touts "Places You Can Eat Outdoors" on the front page of its 413 section (I'd have provided a link if I could find the story on the paper's website, which I can't).

I suppose you need to have a hearty appetite to eat one of those places.

Which raises the question: What would you guess are the best-tasting outdoor places in the Berkshires?

Canoe Meadows in Pittsfield probably tastes pretty good.

I hear that Beartown State Forest is yummy.

Monument Mountain is not for the faint of heart, epicuriously speaking.

Canoe Meadows is just a snack compared to the PLeasant Valley Wildlife Sanctuary. Now that would be a real meal.

For an appetizer, Park Square is fairly bite sized.
