Warning High School Seniors: Your college admissions office is reading your Facebook page

The Wall Street Journal today reports that college admissions officers are making use of social networking sites such as Facebook to learn more about their applicants.
As such, high school students, especially college-bound seniors, may want to think twice about what they post to their pages -- or even be concerned about what their so-called friends are posting on their pages, as that could possibly reflect poorly on them.
One suggestion is that once the college applications are sent off, applicants may want to shut down their home pages for the duration, until they receive their acceptance letters from the colleges of their choice.
Then they can go ahead and repost pictures and written accounts of themselves indulging in whatever it is in which they indulge.
