BERKSHIRE LIVING Magazine.
Almost Shakespearean in its complications of false, hidden, faked, and switched identities, ROMAN DE GARE does Alfred Hitchock as only the French can do him: with great style, wit, romance, and suspense. The acting is first-rate, and the subtle commentary on the close relations between celebrity and criminality add heft to a wonderful entertainment.
