Healthy eating forum on Sunday, April 8 at TRIPLEX

Healthy eating to be focus of forum on Sunday, April 8

(Great Barrington, Mass., March 22, 2007) – Different approaches to a healthful diet will be the subject of "Healthy Eating," on Sunday, April 8, at 11 a.m. at the Triplex Cinema in Great Barrington, part of the award-winning Rest of the Story series, the free public forum co-presented by Berkshire Living magazine and the Triplex.

An outgrowth of Berkshire Living’s annual Food and Dining Issue on newsstands now, the event will feature much-beloved caterer and restaurateur Joan Embree; Chez Nous pastry chef and co-owner Rachel Portnoy, who is herself a vegetarian; and author Steve "Sproutman" Meyerowitz, who advocates alternative approaches to eating. The panel will be moderated by Berkshire Living editor-in-chief Seth Rogovoy and will include Berkshire Living contributing editor Bess Hochstein, who wrote "Make Mine Meatless," about dining as a vegan, in the current issue.

The event will include plenty of time for audience members to ask questions and to interact with the panelists. There will also be food to sample provided by the panelists and by Guido’s Fresh Marketplace.

Each month, Berkshire Living, an award-winning regional lifestyle and culture magazine, and the Triplex join forces to present free public forums based on an article running in the concurrent issue of the magazine. For more information, call Berkshire Living at 413.528.3600.
