She Undoes was recorded at OGM studios in Nashville, TN, and produced by Grammy award winner Charlie Chadwick (John Carter Cash, John Jorgenson, Suzy Bogguss). It features twelve new originals and an unusual cover of the beloved Joni Mitchell song “A Case of You.” Red House Records recording artist Cliff Eberhardt joins Bernice for a duet.

"Bernice is a soulful songwriter, with a voice full of light and hope. That combination makes for a powerful artist, and a beautiful record. She is truly one of the keepers of the flame of Real Songwriting." -- Rosanne Cash

“Triumph! What a great CD! Bernice's life is filled with beautiful, deep things, and she writes beautifully and deeply about them. She has new wings with the genres she's been exploring, musically and vocally.” -- Dar Williams

Bernice Lewis has been a nationally known touring artist for over twenty years, as well as a Berkshire County resident. She is a Singer/Songwriter, a producer and recording artist with six albums to her credit, a published poet, and an educator extraordinaire. She has worked with Dar Williams, Bobby McFerrin, Roseanne Cash, Christine Lavin, the Dixie Chicks, and Peter, Paul and Mary, and Patty Larkin. In addition to her performing career, she is an adjunct professor at Williams College in Williamstown, MA and Colorado College in Colorado Springs, CO. She’s had a thirty year daily yoga practice, loves good coffee, and her religion is the Grand Canyon. These days she lives with her husband and daughter in a humble ranch house in Williamstown, MA.
