Palestine on brink of (un)civil war

With the latest assassination attempt of the lead spy of the Palestinian Authority (Palestinian Intelligence Chief Is Badly Wounded in Bombing) undoubtedly leading to more violence and reprisals in the region, and while the U.S. remains bogged down in a fruitless, thankless, billion-dollar boondoggle in Iraq that nobody really cares about, there is all but a declared war being fought between the executive and legislative branches of the government of the nascent state of Palestine.
And if a picture is worth a thousand words, it's worth checking out this article on the Times's website, where the article leads off with a color photograph (not included in the Times's print edition) showing Israeli medics assisting the victim.
