Al Qaeda declares war on France

9.15.06
Those appeasement-loving, Vichy-hearted French just can't get a break.

Even though they've strongly opposed U.S. efforts to combat terror states in the Middle East, most notably Iraq, and even though they tried to rise above the conflict and play peacemaker between the warring sides of Hizballah and Israel (and then chickened out of sending troops to back up their efforts at fomenting a cease-fire), terrorist group Al Qaeda has officially declared war on France and French nationals everywhere in the world, putting that nation at the center of its efforts to conquer the so-called Crusaders and to reestablish the Muslim Ummah to rule the known world.

Proving just no matter how craven a Western nation is -- "yes sir, Mr. Bin Laden, please beat us some more, we deserve it" -- the Islamist movement will cut no one any slack who ultimately does not cave to their demands, which as we've seen recently during the kidnapping of the Western journalists, are wholesale capitulation to and conversion to Islam and the total dismantling of modern secular Western civilization.
