W.E.B. DUBOIS:
FROM BIRTHPLACE TO BURIAL SITE
Presented By Roselle Chartock

Sunday, March 26th - 12:30pm
at Club Helsinki, Great Barrington, Mass.
413.528.3394

Join Roselle Chartock as she takes us on a slide show retrospective of the first trip made by local residents to Accra, Ghana, the final resting place of Great Barrington native son W.E.B. Du Bois. Through a lecture and slide show presentation, Roselle will tell the story of the journey that brought treasures from Dubois' life here in Great Barrington to The Du Bois Memorial Center for Pan-Africa Culture, the museum and library built around his final resting place. The group also brought back artifacts from the museum to Great Barrington. See pictures of the trip's beginnings here at home and then travel to West Africa and back again. Donations will be accepted to benefit The Du Bois Memorial Center for Pan-Africa Culture in Accra, Ghana. Brunch Reservations are available starting at 11:00.
