“Kill Bill Vol. 2: Original Soundtrack” (Maverick)
Film director Quentin Tarantino takes as much care with his films’ soundtracks as with any other element, as can be heard on this terrific keepsake for fans of “Kill Bill Vol. 2.” Filled with quirky curiosities like Shivaree’s “Goodnight Moon,” Charlie Feathers’ haunting rockabilly “Can’t Hardly Stand It,” Malcolm McLaren’s trip-hop version of the Zombies’ “She’s Not There,” retitled “About Her,” and plenty of spaghetti-western music, including several tracks by Ennio Morricone, the CD also intersperses several choice bits of dialogue from the film.
